1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Karmasu Acharya App, owned and operated by Karmasu.

By accessing or using the Karmasu Acharya App, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use this platform.

Karmasu Acharya App is an online platform that enables teachers, scholars, and spiritual experts (Acharyas) to upload and sell their courses, and allows users/students to purchase and access these courses.

2. Definitions

Platform
Karmasu Acharya App refers to the digital platform operated by Karmasu where courses are hosted and accessed.

Acharya / Teacher
Any individual or organization that uploads educational, spiritual, or knowledge-based courses on the platform.

User / Student
Any person who purchases or accesses courses available on the platform.

Course Content
Videos, documents, audio, PDFs, and other educational materials uploaded by Acharyas.

3. Role of Karmasu

Karmasu operates only as a technology platform and facilitator.

Karmasu:

  • Does not own the courses uploaded by Acharyas
  • Does not guarantee the accuracy or effectiveness of course content
  • Only provides the infrastructure for hosting and delivering courses

The responsibility for course content lies completely with the Acharya who uploads the course.

4. Acharya Responsibilities (Teachers)

By uploading courses on the platform, Acharyas agree that:

  • The content uploaded is original and does not violate any copyright
  • The information provided in the course is accurate and genuine
  • The course does not contain misleading, harmful, illegal or offensive content

Acharyas are solely responsible for the content they upload.

If any violation is found, Karmasu reserves the right to remove the course or suspend the Acharya account.

5. Student / User Responsibilities

Users agree that:

  • Courses purchased are for personal learning purposes only
  • Users will not share, resell, record, distribute or copy course content
  • Users will respect intellectual property rights of Acharyas

Unauthorized distribution of course content may lead to legal action and permanent account suspension.

6. Payments

Users agree that when they purchase a course:

  • They are entering into a legally binding agreement to pay for the course.
  • Payments will be processed through secure payment gateways.

Karmasu may charge platform or service fees where applicable.

7. Refund Policy

Refund policies may vary depending on the course and Acharya.

Karmasu may process refunds in cases such as:

  • Technical errors
  • Payment failures
  • Duplicate transactions

Refund requests must be submitted to Karmasu customer support.

8. Intellectual Property

All course content remains the intellectual property of the respective Acharya.

Users are prohibited from:

  • Downloading
  • Recording
  • Sharing
  • Reproducing course materials without permission.

Violation may result in legal action under copyright law.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Karmasu respects the privacy of its users.

We collect information such as:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Payment details
  • Course activity

This information is used only for:

  • Providing services
  • Improving the platform
  • Customer support

Karmasu does not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

10. Suspension or Termination

Karmasu may suspend or terminate any account if:

  • Copyright violation occurs

  • Fraudulent activities are detected

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform and all services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

Karmasu does not guarantee:

  • Results from learning the courses

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from the use of the platform shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.

13. Modification of Terms

Karmasu reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.

Users are advised to periodically review the Terms on the official website or app.

Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
